They're still there. The cult of Handful of Hate still breathes fire. And
what a ferocious black Metal album it is. Fukk your own ass should you
didn't think it is. "Vicecrown" is black fukking Metal in and out. As black
as black Metal could(should?) be. Mean and fierce. Bleak and sincere. FUKK.
It's black Metal. I couldn't argue more when they say it's Marduk (surely
black Metal) and Angelcorpse (not 'that' black Metal of course, but 'purely'
extreme nevertheless) being put in the blender. Another precious gem of
aggressive music has been brought forth bearing the title "Vicecrown".
Enough thinking. These type of music aren't made for thinking anyway. It's
just perfect to let out all the wrath there is, being able to be erupted in
a musical kaleidoscope. A devil sign for Handful of Hate. Salute. Code666,

Handful Of Hate “Death From Above” 7” (Downfall Records)
|
|
Did I tell you that Downfall Records is getting better? Forget the lacklustre CAD CD, here comes another fine release from them. Handful Of Hate is a recognizable name if you’re familiar enough with the underground black Metal scene, and here’s another slab of their hateful extreme black Metal. Fast, extreme black Metal in the vein of Marduk and Dark Funeral, and they’re pretty good at it. Gratitude shall be given to Nicola and his creation, he hasn’t change his perspective in their music after a demo and a couple of CD, and it has been around since 1993. This is a fine black Metal vinyl limited to 666 copies, so act fast.
